eRgo Collective was an experimental collaborative project that explored the relationship between the artist and the public. This relationship that exists where ever Public Art is made has intrinsic limitations and challenges, as we found in this two year experiment.

Sometimes covert and guerrilla and at others legally bound and following all the right channels, eRgo’s public work allowed the artists participating to explore ‘public space’ and what is allowed, or not, within the context of the governing systems within a city.
